Functions
The General Comptroller of the Administration of the Community exercises the internal control functions of economic and financial management by means of the comptrolling function and financial control totally independently of the authorities, organs and organisations whose management it controls, with a view to guaranteeing proper compliance with the principles of legality, economy, efficiency and efficacy.
